Concept of God in Islam and Christianity

Abstract

Islam and Christianity are the major religions of the world. Even though the both are basically monotheistic religions, they keep some core differences regarding the concept of God. The first holds so pure monotheistic belief and the latter follows the concept of trinity. As far as Islam is concerned, God is one who doesn’t have any partner, father, mother, son or any assistant. When it comes to Christianity, God is only one while he is Three. The Father, The son (Jesus)and The Soul are Gods in their own way while they are only one.

Even though the both concepts are different each other, they keep some similarities as they really come from same source, the real God. This work searches for the concept of God in both religions and finally it compares the both as it is possible.
